Does Rack Performer update MIDI controllers on snapshot recall?

Hi,

I just downloaded the latest beta of Rack performer.
Before I dive into testing it, I have a question:

I'm looking into using it with my Behringer BCR2000 which has endless rotary encoders.

Can I learn and control VST parameters in Rack performer with my BCR and are these parameters updated on my BCR on snapshot recall (ie does Rack Performer support Midi feedback and send a parameter update to control surfaces) ?

This would be a important feature for me for Live use to avoid parameter jumps.

Hi nofish,

Yes this feature is planned but not implemented yet, it's called "midi control feedback" and it will work with the BCR/BCF and similar controllers.

It will be included in RP 1.0, thank you for your patience!

Hello again,

since Rackperformer is now very to close 1.0 release, I'd like to ask again what's the status of this feature. Is it implemented meanwhile ?
(sorry I didn't follow all the changelogs).

Hey Nofish,

I got bad news: this feature will be postponed for after 1.0 as it needs more work to be ready for prime-time (and as it is a very important feature we really want to make it right and complete)

I hope that you understand our decision and that you find the patience to wait a little more! But do not worry, this feature will definitely be implemented!
