This section illustrates the commitment of Abeem Live Technologies there-after called "ABEEM" or "WE" regarding the respect of your privacy and protection of your personal data ( "Data") collected and processed in connection with your use of the Site under the conditions specified in Terms of Use.
We collect but do not link personal and activity data
We use technologies like cookies (small files stored by your browser) to anonymously identify your computer or device so we can deliver a better browsing experience. In particular, the session cookie is required in order to log in to the Site and enjoy its advanced features, like posting on the forums and using the shopping cart. Our web server also logs information like your browser, operating system and IP address for statistical purposes. This data is stored on our server in a format that can not be used to identify you, and is archived after one year.
By registering on the Site, you willingly allow us to collect personally identifiable information that you provide to us. The information we collect is your name, email address and country, as well as your chosen username (nickname) on the Site. No other personal information is required to register on site, but you might optionally provide us with more information by filling your user profile. In this case we may also collect your custom forum signature, your user avatar picture, your time zone setting (locale) and your website url. This data is stored in our web server database.
We also provide a free newsletter service which can be used independently of the registration of an user account. To operate this service we collect on your behalf your email address. This data is also stored in our web server database.
Our Site also allows to purchase our products via a component called the web store. By placing orders on our web store you need to provide additionnal private information to complete the check-out process, as required by the Law. In addition to the data collected during the creation of your user account, we need to collect your billing address, order status and completion time as well as the kind of payment method you used. Please note however that for security reasons we do not store any sensitive payment data, like credit card numbers.
Our systems are not designed to associate personal information with your activities (such as pages you view or things you click on or search for). It means we do not cross data from the website info and data from statistics services.
We do not knowingly contact or collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can promptly obtain parental consent or remove the information.
Geolocalisation data
We do not use or collect your precise geographic location. Your IP might however be used to automatically fill your country setting during the registration and the shopping check-out processes.
Treatment of collected data
The data identified as "required" in the user account registration form are necessary in order to qualify functionality of the Site. Data collected automatically by the web server allows us to perform statistical computations about the consultation of our web pages. These treatments have been declared to the CNIL. We don't share your personal data with other companies
Your personal data will never be subject to any disclosure to third party private companies. You are however informed that they may be disclosed under any law, regulation or pursuant to a decision by a regulatory authority or judicial authority or, if necessary, in order to ABEEM, to preserve its rights and interests.
Analytics providers access data on our behalf
Analytics companies may access anonymous data (such as your IP address or device ID) to help us understand how our services are used. They use this data solely on our behalf. They do not share it except in aggregate form; no data is shared as to any individual user. We are currently using the Google Analytics service for this purpose. Please refer to Google privacy policies that govern their use of data.
Data Security
ABEEM attaches particular importance to the security of your data and implement all appropriate measures to limit the risk of loss, damage or misuse thereof. However, no security or encryption method can be guaranteed to protect information from hackers or human error, this is why we try to store as little private information on our server as possible.
Data storage and retention
The data we collect is stored physically on the server hosting the Site and identified in the terms of use. It is retained for the duration strictly necessary for the purposes specified above. User account registration personal data is stored in our database until you chose to delete your account or if we delete your account for some reason. Statistical data is stored on the server and exploited for at most one year before being archived.
Your can request to see or delete your personal data
You can sign into your account to see or delete any personally identifiable information we have stored.
