When using external MIDI hardware, sometimes you don't have control on what kind of messages the devices will send, and it can lead to conflicts when several devices send contradictory messages.
Received MIDI messages can now be filtered by type at various levels: globally, per-device or per-channel via the MIDI filters configuration dialog shown in the image above.
These filters are configured for the entire application and will apply to all documents. Alternatively you can also setup MIDI filters per module inside the current document, as well as additionnal MIDI effects (but this will be the topic of the next post)
