We are in the process of hunting most of the floating windows down as we would like to minimize their impact on the musical playing experience. The old screen selector floating toolbar got revamped first with the addition of the new "compact" display mode.

Synchronization with the outside world when playing music on a computer is a complex and vast topic, but when you need the best precision and accuracy and can't afford any compromise with your musical work, you have to dive in the deep subject called latency.

We are currently working on the musical clocks and external sync, meaning next Rack Performer release will be a major milestone on the usability side, featuring at last a fully working "clock enabled" master module!

While not being a top priority feature, the sexy on-screen Virtual Keyboard is handy for quick instrument programming or recording when no physical keyboard is available.

Next Rack Performer release will go through a major overhaul on the MIDI front as many features are being implemented or completed.

Amongst those, Quick MIDI mapping has received a particular attention and is now fully functionnal, including 14-bit CC and NRPN mappings, enabling support of high resolution controllers.
